SharePoint Solution Consultant

Location: Yonge and Eglinton
Rate: TBD
 
As a SharePoint Solution Consultant you will be responsible for application configuration and deployment of business solutions for SharePoint. This position will also be responsible for installation, upgrades, patches, configuration, administration, and support of all SharePoint Services/SharePoint Portal servers where needed.  Primary areas of focus will be Workflow driven solutions using SharePoint Workflow 2010 and SharePoint Workflow 2013 (Azure Workflow Service) and Custom WebPart and Web Page development.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and deploy custom WebParts (through SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio where applicable)
  • Design, develop and deploy Workflows using SharePoint workflow engine with Concatenate’s SharePoint Workflow Activities
  • Design, develop and deploy reports and dashboards for SharePoint 2013 using SQL Server reporting Services, Excel Services REST API, PowerView, and other Microsoft BI technologies.
  • Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance
  • Provide production deployment support
  • Identify and develop appropriate lifecycle documentation to support the design, development, and deployment
  • Troubleshooting of PC client vs. SharePoint issues
  • Use of enterprise issue tracking system to track all issues and requests
Required:
  • 4 - 7 years of SharePoint
  • IIS and Windows Server expertise
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013
  • Experience with SharePoint 2003 to 2013 data migration
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008 (2012, 2014)
  • Experience with SharePoint configuration
  • Extensive experience with .NET, MVC, Windows Workflow, Azure Workflow Service, XSLT, no-code SPD WebParts, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with PowerShell Scripts
  • Good verbal and written capabilities, good listener and interpersonal skills

Sales Associate & Customer Service

Rate: $32 000~/year (Depends on experience) + comission

  • Candidates must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residence
The employer is seeking to hire an aggressive sales associate to increase our clientele and continue its rapid growth. The role is best suited for a high-energy candidate who can take initiative and work independently. This individual will be responsible for making cold-calls, responding to sales inquiries, setting up trial accounts and demos, keeping prospects engaged during the trial process, doing presentations for large groups of people, and—most importantly—closing deals. Being passionate for sales and providing good customer service are the main components for this position.

Duties:

  • Generating and organizing leads through warm/cold calling, professional and social media, and networking to win new clients and revenue
  • Identifying qualified prospects
  • Following up on new and existing leads
  • Leading prospects through the entire sales process
  • Handling inbound lead requests
  • Constantly keeping a high level of activity/engagement at the top end of the sales funnel

Qualifications:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in inside sales (tech, software, agency, services industry experience is highly desirable)

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Production support and troubleshooting of product builds for all research platforms; NextPage NXT and Java based online platforms, Folio and Print
  • Development and maintenance of Omnimark and XSLT scripts
  • Support for new research product initiatives
  • Perform root cause analysis of encountered issues and provide recommendations on how to improve the production process
  • Estimation of incoming requests, feedback on scheduling of tasks, reporting status to the Senior Manager, Development

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma (Computer Science degree preferred)

Experience (minimal):
 

  • Expertise with SGML, XML and XSLT
  • Experience with Java language
  • Experience in scripting languages such as PERL, DELPHI and SHELL Scripting
  • Experience with C# and .NET framework
  • Working knowledge of OMNIMARK scripting will be an advantage. 

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
 

  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
