Production Worker

Location: North York, Ontario
Rate: $11/h
Job Type: Contract
 
General labours required for a company that is manufacturing various furniture for commercial use. Workers are required to do General Assembly and production work in the manufacturing facility. There will be lifting of up to 50 lbs in this job and standing for long periods of time. What is the Youth Employment Fund (YEF)?

  • help for youths to cover costs like transportation or tools required for the job
  • a combination of training, employment and individual help

  • between ages 15 - 29
  • unemployed
  • not attending school fulltime and
  • resident of Ontario
